Phase 1: A Dream Realized

Phase 1 of the Children's Campus Expansion is complete.

On June 18, 2026, Holy Angels dedicated the Treescape Campus, the largest expansion in our organization's 70-year history. The completed campus includes a new Community Center and three six-bedroom homes designed specifically for children with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

The Community Center includes a place to gather for events, a commercial kitchen and a fully accessible saltwater pool that provides recreation and freedom of movement for residents.

Thanks to supporters like you, this dream has become a reality.

Phase 2: The Learning Center

The next chapter is already underway.

The Holy Angels Learning Center will provide specialized classrooms, therapy space, art, music and individualized educational opportunities designed specifically for children with intellectual and developmental disabilities and delicate medical conditions..

Our goal is to open the Learning Center for the 2027-2028 school year and continue creating opportunities for every child to reach their potential.

Since 1955, Holy Angels has served children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities and delicate medical conditions.

What began with a baby has transformed into a commitment to a mission that we live and breathe daily: around-the-clock care and opportunities for our residents.

Our Morrow Center, home for our youngest and most fragile children, has served us well for many years, but our needs have outpaced its constraints. We are expanding our Holy Angels community, located on the Sisters of Mercy campus in Belmont, NC, to create a nurturing and homelike atmosphere catering to our residents’ individual needs.
