A Foundation of Compassion, Love, Hope, Faith, Mercy and Dignity

These building blocks are the foundation for Holy Angels. A reliable and strong foundation that has provided nearly 70 years o compassionate care for the differently able.

A Family’s Story: The Andersons

Nolan’s complex therapies and medical needs exceeded his parents’ ability to meet them, their prayers led them to Holy Angels.

A Foundation of Compassion, Love, Hope, Faith, Mercy and Dignity

Since 1955, Holy Angels has served children and adults with intellectual developmental disabilities and delicate medical conditions.

What began with a baby has transformed into a commitment to a mission that we live and breathe daily: around-the-clock care and opportunities for our residents.

Our Morrow Center, home for our youngest and most fragile children, has served us well for many years, but our needs have outpaced its constraints. We are expanding our Holy Angels community, located on the Sisters of Mercy campus in Belmont, NC, to create a nurturing and homelike atmosphere catering to our residents’ individual needs.

Project Update

Momentum continues to build on our Children’s Campus Expansion, and it’s nothing short of inspiring to watch this vision take shape. Every week, the site buzzes with progress as interior wiring is installed, systems go in, and a dream for our youngest residents begins to come to life.

Across all three homes, drywall, fireproofing, caulking, and sealing are progressing, while electrical and lighting installations continue both above ceilings and within walls. In the Community Center, low-voltage electrical wiring was installed to prepare for future data, internet, and audio/visual systems, and electrical rough-ins are nearing completion.
